Our Dental Plans

When you arrive for your first appointment our reception will welcome you to the practice and confirm your details. We will ask you to complete our medical questionnaire so the dentist is fully aware of any pre-existing conditions which may affect their assessments and possible treatments.

At your appointment time the dentist will welcome you into the surgery and there will be an opportunity to get to know us, to explain the reasons why you’ve come to see us and to tell us about any dental problems you may be having.

The dentist will then thoroughly examine your teeth, gums, jaw joint and bite. They will usually take x-rays to determine whether the the difficult to reach areas between the teeth and underneath fillings are healthy.

The dentist will then discuss with you the findings of the examination and take time to discuss any treatment options available and what that would involve. Our dentists are very approachable and happy to answer any questions or queries you may have.

If further treatment is required a detailed estimate will be provided for you and appointments booked at your convenience.

If you have been referred for investigating the possibility of provision of implants, you will be provided with a detailed outline of the treatment proposed including alternative options. The cost, timescales and relevant benefits and risks of treatment will be included.

Once you have had time to read this treatment outline there would be an opportunity to ask questions before any final decisions on treatment are made
